At the end of May SafeDNS, along with the company's partners - Pikit Digital and SAMA WiFi, took part in Infosecurity Mexico 2018, a Latin America leg of one of the most important series of events for information security professionals. At Infosecurity Mexico 2018 we delivered a presentation at Tech Lab, a conference theater, and welcomed expo visitors at the SafeDNS exhibition booth.
The popularity of Infosecurity Mexico grows every year. This year's event attracted more visitors than last year. On Day 1 of Infosecurity Mexico 2018 the attendance exceeded the total attendance recorded for all two days last year. This year all conference theaters were packed with visitors looking to learn about new solutions and technologies.
What SafeDNS talked about at its presentation
On the 1st day of Infosecurity Mexico the SafeDNS speaker, Pikit Digital CEO, Mr.Roberto Massa Suárez delivered the presentation. Several dozen attendees came to learn about opportunities DNS filtering provides for creating the information security system in Mexico. When it came to Q&A part of the presentation Roberto got a lot of questions and had a substantive discussion with the audience.
Much of the overall success at Infosecurity Mexico we owe to this presentation at Tech Lab. To the listeners it clearly revealed the value of DNS-based filtering for improving infosecurity in Mexico.
How we've made expo part of the event a success
Before signing up to exhibiting at Infosecurity Mexico 2018 we carefully studied the event statistics to learn whom to aim the company's message at. With that information in mind SafeDNS got its partners' help in creating marketing materials and getting pitches ready. The SafeDNS Spanish speaking staff invited all existing and potential customers to the company's booth.
Infosecurity Mexico organizers included SafeDNS Stand into an exclusive tour for 20 VIP visitors "Elite Buyers" from Monterrey & Guadalajara. All of those measures contributed to bringing a couple hundred attendees to the expo booth. There was excellent engagement by the company and the visitors and brought us a number of business leads.
For them the SafeDNS solutions for business and partnership program for resellers proved to be the most interesting. The SafeDNS team also advised several of the largest universities in Mexico on advantages of the company's cloud service for web content filtering. The feedback, we got from the reps of these educational institutions, was quite positive.
To cut a long story short, the event in Mexico went well for us. We warmly thank the event organizers, our partners and stand visitors for devoting time to SafeDNS.
This is not the last exhibition the company's participated in. Stay tuned to news from us and see you at the next event!
